Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist

I know what it’s like to be in so much pain that getting out of bed feels impossible. A few years ago, I dealt with severe lower-back pain that would shut me down for weeks at a time. It affected my work, my mood, and my quality of life. I had grown up in fitness and spent years training, but none of that mattered when my body stopped moving the way it should.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in a family deeply involved in fitness. My father has been in the industry for over 35 years, and my brother for more than 20. I also played baseball for 15 years as a left-handed pitcher, which put a lot of wear and tear on my body over time. Eventually, all of that caught up with me.

After high school, I moved to Dallas to pursue a career in fitness and earned my certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, specializing in Corrective Exercise. That focus came directly from my own injuries and the frustration of knowing something was wrong, but not knowing how to fix it.

When my back gave out, I had a choice to either let it limit me or learn from it. I chose to dig deeper into how the body moves, how compensation patterns form, and how to correct them. By fixing the way my body moved, I avoided surgeries that once felt unavoidable.

Today, at 38, I’m in the best shape of my life—not because I pushed through pain, but because I learned to move better. That’s how I train my clients. I focus on proper movement, real-time corrections, and programs that evolve as the body changes. This isn’t about running you into the ground. It’s about helping you move without pain, train with confidence, and feel strong in your body again.
